Moonbound

A small world under a big moon

Moonbound is a cozy online RPG about going on adventures with friends and coming home afterwards. Make a little hero and set out from the village of Primrose to see where the road takes you.

You'll see the same people at the well in the morning and in a dungeon that night, and some evenings you'll end up fishing next to them while the stars come out.

Find your class

Swing a sword as a Warrior, fling spells as a Magician, shoot from a distance as an Archer, slip behind enemies as a Rogue, or keep your friends on their feet as a Cleric. Each one gets out of trouble its own way. A Magician blinks out of reach when a boss swings; a Rogue disappears into a cloud of smoke and turns up somewhere else.

Can't decide? Learn them all and switch whenever you like.

Into the wilds

Fights happen in real time, and they get a little dramatic. You'll dodge a swing at the last second and land the hit that finally knocks a boss off balance. You'll face a giant eclipsed wolf, a brawler deep in the quarry, and a grieving farmer who became the Harvest King.

When you'd rather not go alone, round up your friends for a dungeon. No two runs are quite the same, and there's always a boss waiting at the end. There's a harder version too, for when you're feeling brave.

A home to come back to

Get a house with a yard and make it yours. Plant a field and watch it come up, or cook something good after a long day out. Craft your own furniture, down to the table your friends sit around and the rod you take fishing.

Some evenings you'll just go fishing. Maybe tonight's the night you land a big one. Plenty of nights the fish wins.

Move in with your guild

Get your guild an estate of its own: a ring of houses around a courtyard with a fountain, in a quiet clearing away from town. Pick a plot next to your friends, furnish it your way, and wander over to see what everyone else has done with theirs.

Better together

Play a song for whoever's passing by, or start a band in the square and draw a crowd.

Ride out on a pig, a horse or a cow named Clover. Wave, cheer, dance, and dress up in looks from the wardrobe just because. When you want to be silly, pile into party games like a pillow brawl, a pumpkin toss or a round of volleyball.

Under the moon

Wander from the meadows around Primrose to the golden fields of Russet Vale and the marshes of Calder Mere, where a town lost to a rift is waiting for someone to bring its people home. Night falls for everyone at once. The lanterns come on, and the moon is a little different every time you look up.

Early Access

Moonbound just launched, and the world is still filling up. The community is small for now, so you'll start to recognize faces around town, and the people who join early get a real say in where the game goes next. Bringing a friend helps. The story runs all the way to the level cap, and more is on the way. Moonbound goes free to play at full release, and everyone who owns it before then keeps their founder rewards.
