Find your soulmate before the curse runs out
You play Selene Yan, a junior at Ocean City University whose ordinary student life breaks after a near accident and a warning from a mysterious woman. The terms are simple and stressful: find true love or die.
That gives your reading a clear pull. You pick dialogue choices, spend time with one of four women, and steer toward different endings. You reunite with bubbly childhood friend Nyx Xia, accept internship help from senior Iris Wen, sit through lectures with eager classmate Eleanor Si, or try to survive working for strict CEO Victoria Qi. Romance, fantasy and past-life history mix in, with love sliding toward possessiveness, manipulation and obsession.
Four romances with sharp edges
None of the four love interests is written as perfect, and the game is upfront that each has a negative side that surfaces on her route. Nyx can turn grim beneath the energy. Iris keeps her friendly council-president manner as a front for a locked-up heart. Eleanor arrives already interested in you. Victoria watches your work closely and can feel distant outside it.
You choose who to pursue and what kind of bond to build. One route reads like a mature workplace romance, another leans into childhood promises and old marriage arrangements, another into teasing college closeness. Expect sweet scenes, jealous turns and bad endings alongside the good ones. The full story runs about 200,000 words with over 40 CGs, so each woman gets room for her own conflict and resolution.
Soft art and voices for slow reading
The look is hand-drawn anime with illustrated scenes, character sprites and CGs, including chibi versions. The art is a highlight, pretty enough that you may linger on a CG longer than the dialogue box below it. Full voice acting carries much of the emotion, and the music suits quiet evening reading.
The pace is relaxed. You read narration and dialogue, make choices, check texts and dates, and follow one route at a time toward its ending. The story divides players: some find the past-life twists moving, others find the plotting uneven. Come for tender college romance with a supernatural deadline rather than a tightly plotted mystery.
What should you know before reading?
Who can you romance?
Four women: childhood friend Nyx Xia, senior and council president Iris Wen, classmate Eleanor Si, and CEO Victoria Qi. There are also seven supporting characters around school, work and the curse plot. You focus on one woman per route, with multiple endings depending on your choices.
How does the curse shape the story?
After almost being hit by a car, Selene learns she will die unless she finds her soulmate soon. So ordinary junior-year life — classes, an internship, a new job — keeps running beside the search for love. Along the way you uncover secrets, old bonds and someone who may hold a grudge against you.
Can you change your name and choices?
Selene Yan's first name can be customized, and your dialogue choices branch the plot into routes and endings. The writing includes good, bad and true endings, plus epilogues that expand some relationships. If a route turns painful, that is the story doing its job, not a wrong click.
