Draw every spell by hand
You move your mage around the arena, but nothing happens until you draw. You sketch a sigil with mouse, touch, or tablet, the game reads it, and the spell goes off where you placed it. Simple shapes take two or three quick lines, harder ones need practice and steadier nerves.
Placement matters. Some spells throw projectiles, others leave damage zones or turrets where your sigil lands. Drawing under pressure, half-surrounded and out of time, is the whole thrill. Time-slowing and freeze-while-drawing options, plus a button mode, keep it playable when your wrist needs a break.
Stacked builds across four planets
Runs take you across four planets against growing hordes and colossal bosses, with corrupted versions for harder fights and better rewards. You collect experience, pick upgrades, and bend 20 spells with hundreds of possible boosts into area-clearing combinations.
Between runs you unlock the six mages of the Circle, each with its own skill tree and abilities, plus familiars, brewed potions, a garden, and wagers for extra resources. Back at the manor you meet the other mages and pick at the secrets of the Circle, which gives the grinding a cozy home base.
Good to know?
Do you need to be good at drawing?
No. Crude lines still count, and recognition is forgiving enough for fast mouse scribbles. Complex sigils take repetition to learn, but you can slow or freeze time while you draw.
Can you play it solo?
Yes, it is a single-player game. You pick one of the six mages and head out alone, with familiars and potions as backup.
What do you do outside of runs?
You explore the manor, unlock mages and spells, spend anima on character upgrades, brew potions, grow a garden, unlock familiars, and wager winnings for more resources.
How do the controls work?
Mouse, drawing tablet, touch screen, and controller are supported. Mouse or tablet is recommended, and accessibility settings plus a button-press casting mode help controller players.
