Read everything, shoot when it counts

You move through offices, labs, and dark service tunnels, reading database entries, dates of birth, maps, and small marks in the environment to work out codes and mechanisms. Nothing is spelled out on the HUD, so progress depends on observation and notes. Then the thinking stops: timed sequences, robot dogs, turrets, and swarms force you to hold a room, manage ammo and energy, and fix things while under fire.

A two-person job with different eyes

The story is only playable with a Steam friend who also owns the game, over the internet or on two computers over LAN. You take different roles, one more focused on hacking and heavy gear, the other on infiltration and access, and very few puzzles can be solved alone. A solo training section teaches controls and basics in about an hour. Clock mode times the full run, and Real mode restarts the operation from the beginning if you fail.

How does it actually play?

Can you play it solo?

Only the training can be played alone. It takes about an hour and covers movement, basic mechanics, and whether the game runs well for you. The main investigation needs two players, each with the game, seeing the facility from their own point of view.

What do you need to set up co-op?

One Steam friend who owns the game, plus voice chat. There is no split screen, so LAN still means two computers on the same network. If no friend is available, the developers point to the partner-search channel on their Discord server.

How hard is it, and can you make it harder?

Difficulty follows information: the fewer clues you find and read, the harder fights and puzzles get, and some tactical choices can make situations worse. For extra pressure, Clock mode measures your full completion time for speedruns, while Real mode adds permadeath and sends you back to the start if the operation fails.

What kind of horror is it?

Psychological and creature-driven rather than constant jump scares. The station starts clean and futuristic, then turns strange as you piece together what happened from files and rooms. Expect dark areas, one-shot enemies in hiding spots, and sections with insects and crawling things that bother players who dislike them.
