The tests, one by one
The real exams measure very specific skills, and each one gets its own practice module here. In Directional Orientation, a map shows your aircraft's heading as an arrow while a top-down view of buildings fills the right side of the screen: pick the building you are looking at, fast. Terrain Identification flips the idea, asking you to match features on a north-up map against what you see from the cockpit to work out your compass heading. Then there is Aircraft Tracking, where you steer a reticle, a throttle box and a pedal box over moving aircraft silhouettes, sometimes all at once. Each module explains its mechanics up front, so you always know what you are training.
Juggling four things at once
The Multitasking test is the one that sounds like a circus act. A letter code flashes on screen and vanishes; you then judge incoming letters against it from memory. Math problems pop up and wait for an answer. A gauge needle creeps toward the red band and needs nudging back. And over your speakers, a voice calls your callsign and orders a radio switch. Your job is to keep all four plates spinning before their timers run out. It is stressful by design, since the real test measures how you perform under pressure. Practice it in short bursts, turn the difficulty up as it gets comfortable, and the panic starts to look like routine.
Practice, assess, improve
Every test can be drilled on its own, with adjustable difficulty for each aspect, so you can start gentle and tighten the screws as you improve. When you want to know where you stand, Assessment Mode runs you through a simulated full test and scores your performance, ending with an approximated total score. Your assessment history is saved, so you can see the improvement over weeks of practice rather than guessing. There are leaderboards too, both for the full assessment and for individual tests, which is a handy reality check: if your score sits near the top, you are in good shape for the real thing.
