A frozen Marina Bay and three survivors
You play Leo, a put-upon warehouse clerk who responds to missing pay by emptying the warehouse, which turns out to be useful once the world freezes. Stuck with you are Molly, a brave and prickly archery student hiding from debt collectors, Erlinda, a biotech employee with unclear motives, and Reina, a cheerful pastry chef with a food truck and a mutant potato pie. You guide them through biting cold that slows everyone down, zombies included, plus neighbors who can be worse than the undead.
Choices, dice, and different endings
This is a live-action interactive movie where the story turns on what you pick and what you roll. Decisions shift relationships and add bonuses or penalties to your die, opening branching paths and very different endings. The dice sit hot in your hand at tense moments, and a failed roll can cut a run short, so building bonds and managing those modifiers matters. The blend runs mostly in first person with some third-person scenes, shot with live on-set sound.
Trust is the scarce resource
The throughline is who you trust when the blizzard blurs right and wrong. Molly dares you to run together or not at all, Erlinda once saved your life and keeps her secrets, and Reina smiles at strangers you might rather avoid. You decide who to back, who to save, and who to leave to the cold, while zombie groans and old debts close in. It is romantic, tense, and often funny, with the comedy coming from the characters rather than the end of the world.
What should you know before playing?
Who do you play as?
You play Leo, a Marina Bay warehouse clerk pushed too far just before the freeze. His snap decision to clear out the warehouse gives the group supplies, and his job from there is keeping Molly, Erlinda, and Reina alive through cold, zombies, and other people.
How do the dice work?
At key moments you roll against a target, with earlier choices adding bonuses or penalties. Golden dice give you a better shot by taking the higher of two rolls. Winning moves the story forward, while losing can end the run and send you back to try the scene again.
Is this mainly a dating story or a survival story?
It is both. Affection and trust shape who stands with you in a crisis, and the plot keeps cutting back to food, shelter, cold, zombies, and hostile neighbors. Pick allies with survival in mind, since every bond has a practical cost.
