Watch your body while the Pacific wears you down
You check an interactive survival watch that tracks health, hunger, thirst and sunstroke, then decide what needs fixing first. You cure poison, set broken bones and bandage bleeding before a small problem turns into a bad day. You hunt, fish, trap and cook, manage water and plant crops on your own farm with its growth cycles. You level harvesting, craftsmanship, cooking, physical skill and hunting to work faster and unlock new crafting combinations. You drop a coconut, drink, and start looking for the next meal.
Turn sticks and wreck loot into tools and shelter
You pile up what you find on the ground and around you and turn it into spears, axes, bows, spearguns and more, through the crafting menu or the quick-craft wheel. You raise walls from palm fronds first, then work up through dozens of tiers and pieces to a clay brick house. You add farms, storage and shelter until one island starts to feel like yours.
Small islands, deep water, strange leftovers
You cross a procedurally generated chain where no two islands match, searching beaches and shallows for supplies. You swim out to sunken shipwrecks, lost containers and shelters left by earlier survivors, and keep an eye out for whales. Take on three bosses if you want a wall trophy and the reward that comes with it. The water pays for curiosity with interest.
Build a way off the island you started on
You fit out your own raft with sails, canopies, storage, anchors and boat motors, then learn how it handles loaded with crates and supplies. If sailing bores you, you build a gyrocopter and take the noisy route instead. You can shape the whole trip in the map island editor, sculpt terrain, place trees, rocks and creatures, save a custom island into your world and share it. Play alone, online, or split-screen co-op, as male or female, on your chosen difficulty.
Good to know before you wash ashore?
How do I stay alive in the first days?
Find food and fresh water, then make tools, weapons and shelter. Your watch shows health, hunger, thirst and sunstroke, so treat poison, broken bones and bleeding early. Hunt, fish, trap, cook and start a small farm, and level skills like harvesting and cooking to make the same work go further.
What is there to build?
Shelters from palm shacks to clay brick houses, using dozens of building pieces, plus farms with water management and plant growth. Rafts take sails, motors, anchors, storage and canopies, and a gyrocopter offers a very different exit plan. Build for function first, comfort second.
What is there to explore?
A procedurally generated Pacific with different islands every world, plus underwater shipwrecks, lost supplies, old shelters and rare sea creatures such as whales. Dangerous animals share the water and shore, so search carefully and carry a weapon you trust.
Can I change the world or play with someone?
Yes. Play single-player, online co-op or split-screen co-op, choose male or female and set difficulty. The map island editor lets you sculpt terrain, place trees, rocks and creatures, add the island to your world and share it with friends.
