Gods with day jobs in mayhem
You choose from more than 100 gods and myth figures, each with its own weapons and earth-shattering powers. Rain lightning as Zeus, turn enemies to stone as Medusa, swing Thor's hammer, stalk from the shadows as Loki, or transform and trick foes as Sun Wukong, the Monkey King.
The question is never just who looks cool.
A MOBA aimed with your own hands
SMITE drops the top-down view. You stand on the battlefield in third person, so fights feel direct and physical. Shots have to be aimed, ambushes come from genuine blind sides, and dodging means actually moving.
Lanes, minions, towers, and a portal to destroy will feel familiar if you know battle arenas. The aiming makes it all feel new again.
Jump in fast, learn as you fight
Never played a battle arena before? SMITE has training wheels that actually work. Auto-buy picks your items, auto-level handles skill upgrades, and the deathmatch-like Arena mode skips laning and throws you straight into team fighting.
You pick a god, follow the noise, and learn ranges, timing, and when to retreat by doing it. Once the basics click, turn the helpers off and start building your own way.
Climb from casual to championship
There is a clear path upward when you want more pressure. Top the ladders, join a competitive team, and keep climbing toward the SMITE World Championship. Ranked, co-op, and custom matches give you places to practice each step.
With more than 40 million players in the Battleground of the Gods, there is always another team queuing.
What else should you know?
How many gods can I play?
More than 100 mythological icons, with a rotating set of free trial gods plus in-game currency to unlock more. Thor, Medusa, Zeus, Loki, and Sun Wukong are only the start, and each deity brings different strategies, weapons, and powers.
What do I actually do in a match?
You team up, level your god, buy items, push with minions, take towers, and destroy the enemy portal. Modes include 5v5 battles, 3v3 tower pushes, ranked, co-op, and custom games, plus the Arena mode for straight team fighting.
Is SMITE hard for MOBA beginners?
Less than it looks. Auto-buy and auto-level handle builds while you learn, and Arena lets you practice combat without worrying about lanes. The aiming takes a few matches, then it starts to feel natural.
