Is Pyroworks worth it?
Pyroworks is worth it if…
- you love fireworks and always wondered what goes into planning a real display
- you want a relaxed sandbox with no timers, where you set your own pace
- you enjoy chaotic multiplayer sessions where the plan falls apart beautifully
- you like games you can tinker with, from building shows to making your own mods

Real fireworks, faithfully recreated
Pyroworks is built around the real thing. The game includes fireworks from actual pyrotechnic companies across the globe: Funke, Lesli, Zena Vuurwerk, Weco, Nico Europe, JGW Berckholtz, Zink, Aba Pyrotechnik and more. The effects take that seriously too: a lot of work went into making the colours, sounds and behaviour of each shell feel like the real article. You pick up a shell, load it into a tube, light it with E and watch it climb. If you know your way around real fireworks, you will recognise the catalogue. If you don't, it's a good place to learn what an Argento actually does.
Design a show, then share it
For the patient kind of fun, there's a COBRA™ 18M firing system, the kind real display operators use. You lay out racks, connect fuses and firing systems, and plan a show shell by shell: which effect goes up, in what order, with what timing. Then you save the entire world, other players can load it and watch your show, and you can download theirs. Modding support goes further: with the included documentation, you can add your own fireworks, maps and saves, and the community has been doing exactly that. There's a tutorial to get you started, and no timer pushing you anywhere.
Chaos is also a valid plan
Not every session needs a choreography. Grab a launcher, load it, and fire shells at whatever looks like it deserves it. Standing on a tube and re-collecting a firework has been known to launch people into the sky. The fun here is unscripted: everyone in the lobby with their own pile of pyrotechnics, and the night sky filling up with everyone's bad ideas at once. It's a lobby game in the best sense: join, mess around, laugh, repeat.
