It's just an installer. How hard can it be?

PLEASE WAIT is a short comedy game that takes place entirely inside one installation window. Your only goal is obvious: get the progress bar to 100%. The installer has other plans.

A few percent in, things start to go wrong. The RETRY button runs away. The loading bar escapes the window and has to be dragged back. A percent falls out and needs to be put back in by hand. The installer asks you not to move your mouse — and then asks you to move it to generate bandwidth.

Every step changes the rules

Update the updater. Then update it again. Free up disk space. Try not to delete cat.png. Take the premium download offer. The +20% for $0.00 one, if you can catch it. Read the terms of installation while they are being amended. Prove that you are still at the keyboard. Choose a download mirror. Mirror 3 is the one. Reach 100%. Then wait for the Day One Update. Survive 99%. The last percent is the hardest one.
