Drive a cartoon outpost across hostile planets, defend it with drones and guns, and rebuild it stronger after every run.
Is outpost4 worth it?
outpost4 is worth it if…
- you want a casual auto-battler with real decisions between the waves
- you like short missions you can finish in a coffee break, plus an endless mode for evenings
- you enjoy stacking weapons and items into a build that snowballs out of control
- you want progress that survives a lost run, not a clean slate every time

Your outpost is a machine you feed
Each mission has two halves. First your mining drones pull ore out of the ground while the outpost creeps forward. Then the wave hits: enemies stream toward your base, your weapons open fire on their own, and the drones scurry behind the walls until it is over. Your job is the decisions, not the trigger finger. Choose which weapons to mount, which relics to take, and which drones and extractors to upgrade mid-run, because the ore you gather only lasts as long as that run. A mission takes about fifteen minutes, which makes it an easy thing to play over lunch, and the endless mode is where you find out the hard way that "one more wave" is a lie.
Death is just another deposit
Every run ends eventually, and that is fine: what you earn carries forward. Ore you banked goes into a research lab and a tech tree with more than 100 permanent upgrades, so even a bad run moves your outpost closer to something monstrous. Within a run you take temporary boosts that fall apart when you die; between runs you build power that never does. The upgrades branch early, so two players can push the same tech tree in different directions and end up with very different outposts. It is a bit repetitive by design, and that is the point: short sessions, steady growth, one more go.
