A shapeshifting horror
"That blaspheme abomination adapts as quick as a nightmare; now it's a beast, now its fluids are corrosive, now it spits acid, now it lays eggs around to bring waves of apocalypse to the world, now the bioluminescent appendages it chases our hope with blind us all. We know up to 144 mutations of that being and our bowels gave us the perfect answer to survive them all... running."
A twisted, ever changing labyrinth
"Our hope is trapped in a morphing labyrinth, their brain tarnished by fear and dread. Their senses, blurred among horror shadows, crawl in twisting corridors, looking for an exit, a mirage only proved real by the items laying around this god-forsaken facility.
What hides behind the next door? Heaven? Hell? Or... another nightmare?"
Craft, heal and survive
"Our resolve holds the culmination of all our mistakes and efforts, the Chronus Abyssus. Survival wouldn't be possible without the item-combining, nutrient-absorbing and all those other features in such a fatal environment. We need our hope to survive and retrieve our equipment as well..."
Leave your humanity behind
"May our desires be sacrificed to the heart of Dagon to surface from the pit of madness. Sacrifice arcane resonances and part of your soul forged by the experience of countless deaths to survive longer and longer."
