$1.99 (−90%)EVERSPACE™ Die, upgrade, fly further
Fast roguelike space combat where every run ends in a crash and every crash makes the next one stronger.
Is EVERSPACE™ worth it?
EVERSPACE™ is worth it if…
- you want quick, frantic space combat in short sessions, not long hauls between stations
- you enjoy runs that end in death and treat every restart as progress
- you like improvising with whatever weapons and scrap the last fight dropped
- you grew up on classic space shooters and want one with modern visuals
- you would rather make fast decisions under a timer than plan every move

Dogfights that never slow down
EVERSPACE is built around quick, arcade-style space combat with full 6DOF controls tuned for mouse and keyboard. You roll, boost and spin to keep an enemy off your tail, swapping between a wide range of weapons and devices as the fight shifts. The sectors are procedurally generated, so each jump throws new situations at you: an ambush behind an asteroid, a wreck worth looting, a patrol you would rather avoid. A timer and a hunting armada keep the pressure on, so you decide fast: fight that convoy for its loot, or grab the fuel and jump. Every mistake can be your last, and that is the point.
Loot, craft and make do
Everything you scavenge is a decision. Collect and mine resources, then spend them on repairing your ship's systems or crafting new equipment and modifications for an edge. Blueprints you find unlock recipes, and exotic weapons drop from enemies you were not sure you could beat. The gear you build only lasts the current run, but credits you earn carry over: spend them on permanent perks before they decay, and each run starts a little stronger. Three ships with different capabilities and starting gear change how the whole loop plays, and a Hardcore mode with permadeath waits for anyone who wants the stakes raised all the way.
What should you know before starting?
How hard is it, and will you keep dying?
Yes, you will die a lot, and the game means it. Early runs are short: reaching the later sectors takes upgrades you only earn by dying and spending credits on permanent perks. The combat itself is quick to pick up, but the roguelike structure takes a few runs to click. Once it does, pushing one sector further than last time is where the fun lives. If permadeath sounds appealing rather than punishing, there is a Hardcore mode for exactly that.
Is there a story, or is it all shooting?
There is a full story, fully voice acted, about piecing together who you are as you travel sector by sector. You meet characters along the way, each with their own part to tell, and your ship's AI comments on it with a pleasantly sarcastic streak. The plot is linear rather than sprawling, and it sets up the series' sequel, but it gives the runs a reason beyond loot.
