Is Dollar worth it?
Dollar is worth it if…
- you want a clicker that asks nothing of you and runs in the background
- you enjoy collecting items and chasing one absurdly rare drop
- you like games that are openly a joke about money

Clicking the dollar
The whole game starts with one dollar on screen. You click it. The counter goes up, more cash fills the screen, and that is the point: the plain satisfaction of a number that only moves in one direction. Nothing here asks for skill or speed. It is a toy in the oldest sense: poke it, watch it react, poke it again. If your idea of unwinding is a game that asks nothing back, this is about as low-pressure as games get.
Drops, stacking and the golden dollar
Every hour, a dollar lands in your inventory as a collectible item. Almost always it is the regular dollar; the golden dollar exists too, with an extremely rare drop rate, which gives every drop a small flicker of "maybe this time". Dollars can be stacked, so a pile of common ones can be turned into something rarer. The honest trade-off: most drops are the cheap common dollar, so the rare stuff takes patience. Leave it running in the background and check in now and then; the game is built for exactly that rhythm.
Playing it with friends around
This is a singleplayer game, so there are no lobbies or rounds to join. The shared part happens outside the click: your drops are inventory items, and the rare ones have real value to collectors, which gives you something to compare, trade and gloat about. Who got the golden dollar first is a contest your group can settle without the game ever running a match. It suits a casual, social mood in the way a slot machine in the corner of a bar does: everyone takes a turn, nobody has to coordinate, and the results make good conversation.
