Free to playBrawlhalla
A cartoony platform fighter for up to 8 players where you pick a Legend, grab weapons mid-fight, and knock everyone else off the stage. Matches are quick, chaotic, and easy to start, and the roster keeps the rematches strange: fairy queens, werewolves, plus guests like Rayman and Shovel Knight.
Is Brawlhalla worth it?
Brawlhalla is worth it if…
- you like fast, colorful fighting games that are easy to jump into
- you want ranked 1v1s one night and silly team modes the next
- you like big rosters and absurd crossover matchups
- you want something family friendly to play with friends, local or online

Knock everyone else off the stage
You fight on platforms with room for up to 8 players, in casual free-for-alls or ranked 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3. Weapons spawn during the match, so part of the game is deciding when to grab, throw, or switch and when to just punch your way through.
For a change of pace you can chill in Capture the Flag and Volleybrawl. You still need timing and positioning, but the goal is points and objectives rather than survival. Rounds end fast, so one more match is always tempting.
Werewolves, gods, and cartoon guests
There are over sixty Legends, and the lineup is deliberately silly. A werewolf fights with ice powers, a space warrior controls black holes, a trickster god brings a very large pet snake, and a fairy queen rides a war beetle into battle.
Then come the crossover fights the game loves to set up: SpongeBob SquarePants and Darth Vader against John Cena and Mega Man, or Aang and Tiny Tina against Rayman and Lara Croft. You pick the Legend whose weapons and powers suit you, then learn the rest by losing gloriously.
Good to know?
Can you set up matches with just your friends?
Yes. You can invite friends to a private room and run your own free-for-alls instead of queuing with strangers.
Is there anything to play besides versus?
Yes. Horde and Walker Attack are survival modes where you hold out as long as possible, which works well when you want teamwork instead of knocking out your friends.
