Free to playBlockstorm
Blockstorm is a fast, blocky FPS where every wall, tower and hiding place can be blown apart or rebuilt mid-fight. Pick a loadout, wreck the map for a better angle, then build your own maps, characters and guns with the same tools the game was made with.
Is Blockstorm worth it?

- you like fast arena shooters with destructible maps

Blow holes in the battlefield
Every map in Blockstorm is made of destructible blocks, and every bullet leaves a mark. You trade shots across a courtyard, then level the wall someone is hiding behind. You dig a side tunnel, knock out cover, or drop blocks to wall up a flag route.
Weapons run from precise rifles to heavy machine guns and explosives made for removing hiding places. Map creators set the available loadouts, so you choose your kit and look for the weak point in the scenery. Rounds turn scrappy fast, with tidy block forts ending as cratered ruins.
Built with the same tools you get
The maps and characters shipped with the game were made with the public in-game editor, and you get those same tools. You can build a map from scratch, tweak an existing one, shape a character block by block, or edit weapons to your taste.
It is a straightforward trade: shooting when you want action, making things when you want control. Share what you make and other players can run around inside it, break it, and presumably blame your spawn points. Singleplayer, multiplayer and zombies are listed, plus a level editor for the patient architect with a demolition habit.
Good to know?
Can you play it solo?
Singleplayer is listed alongside multiplayer, and zombies are tagged too, so there is something to shoot when no one else is online. Bringing friends is the safer plan for full matches.
How does weapon choice work?
You pick a loadout from the weapons configured by the map creator. That keeps each map feeling different: one map hands you rifles for long sightlines, another leans into machine guns and explosives for close demolition work.
