Trapped in art school after hours
You play Ann, stuck in a school that turns strange and dangerous at night. With the security guard guiding you, you move floor to floor, look for a way out, and learn why breaking one small rule had such large consequences.
Expect chase scenes and traps that kill you if your timing is off. Dying just means trying that section again, so save often and learn the pattern. The puzzles stay simple, and the story leans more sad and strange than outright scary, with a true ending worth reaching.
Pixel exploration with animated cutscenes
The look is retro 2D pixel art with a darker edge, and fully animated cutscenes break up the exploring at key story moments. Those scenes are a highlight, giving the characters more feeling than dialogue boxes alone could manage.
You spend most of your time walking the school, checking paintings and rooms, and running when something starts chasing you. Chases repeat through the chapters and demand fairly precise movement, which can wear thin if you prefer slow puzzling.
What should you know before playing?
How long is Ann?
Short enough for an evening or two. One run takes around two hours, with extra endings and secrets if you keep playing and try different choices.
How hard are the chases and puzzles?
The puzzles are light and easy to follow. The chases are the real challenge, with tight timing and instant death for one wrong step, so patience and frequent saving help a lot.
Is it actually scary?
More tense and melancholy than frightening. There are chase sequences and sudden deaths, but the focus stays on atmosphere, characters, and uncovering what happened in the school.
