Toaplan's arcade shooters

If you want direct shooting action, this set from Toaplan gives you fast stages to work through and patterns to learn. Batsugun and Truxton 2 send you against waves of ships and thick spreads of fire to slip between while you shoot back and handle big bosses, and Twin Cobra puts you in a helicopter clearing ground and air targets from above. Across the list you aim, dodge, manage weapons and pickups, and replay stages to last longer and raise your score.
