Akella pirate and fantasy games

If you enjoy open-ended sailing adventures, start with Sea Dogs, Sea Dogs: Caribbean Tales and Sea Dogs: City of Abandoned Ships, where you shape a captain, handle ships and crews, and choose between piracy or service to rival navies while trading and fighting around island waters. The rest of the set shifts to gothic fantasy warfare, where you direct units in turn-based combat, use spells and follow long campaigns with optional tasks.
