Fishing that waits for you
You park your fisher anywhere on the screen, then carry on with work or browsing. When a fish bites, your character signals you, and the fish holds on until you have a moment. Reeling in is a small timing minigame, quick enough to fit between tasks.
Catches go two ways: sold for money, or cooked into recipes. You mix ingredients to discover new dishes, chase higher star ratings, and complete both the Fish and Recipe Encyclopedias. Earnings buy better rods, upgrades, ingredients, music, and ambient soundscapes, plus new shops and bonus features once you meet the shopkeepers and their conditions.
A corner of the screen that feels like yours
This is a chill desktop companion in soft hand-drawn 2D, built to sit quietly alongside everything else. You can change the background music and ambient soundscapes, so the same fishing spot can feel like a sleepy afternoon or a late-night shift.
Then there is the personal touch. You can decorate your character's skin with your own images, and even add a custom fish to the water, complete with its name, size, and artwork. Catching something you invented yourself is a strange pleasure, and the game knows it.
What else should you know?
Does the fish get away if you are busy?
No. Your character signals when something bites, and the catch waits until you are ready to reel it in. It suits leaving the game open while you do other things and checking in for a minute at a time.
What do you do with the fish you catch?
You sell them for money or use them as cooking ingredients. Cooking is about combining ingredients to discover recipes, earning star ratings, and finishing both encyclopedias, while money goes toward rods, upgrades, ingredients, music, and soundscapes.
How do you unlock new shops and extras?
By meeting shopkeepers and fulfilling their special conditions. It gives the collecting a light structure: fish, cook, earn, then check what new stock or bonus feature your progress has opened up.
